At Penny Publishing Co., our mission is to provide a platform and support system for first-time publishers who dream of sharing their unique stories with the world. We believe that everyone has a story worth telling, and we are here to guide and empower individuals on their self-publishing journey.
In 2021, I was totally new to the self-publishing world. I had no idea where to start; I just knew I had creative ideas to share, a message to get out, and a vision for another means of passive income. For your publishing and distribution needs you will submit your content at info@pennypublishingco.com. Book will be formatted and uploaded and ready to sell.
Penny Publishing Co. currently uses Kindle Direct Publishing and InstaSpark.
The process times depends on the work you choose. The average time to be uploaded and ready to sale can take 6-8 weeks. A proof can be sent in 1-2 weeks after submission.
You will obtain all rights to your publication.

Write your book, edit and copy edit it, figure out how and where you want to self-publish, design the interior, design the cover, then market the heck out of it.
What did it cost to self publish your very first book on your own? Book cover from Fiverr.com $25-$100. Interior design with paid Canva account: $12 monthly subscription. Editing from Fiverr.com $15 for less than 500 words. Illustration $215-$300 ($15-$20 per image for about 14 images). Publishing is free with Kindle Direct Publishing. ISBN $125 (for all of my rights). KDP has free available ISBNs. Marketing $100 (this is a never ending task) Paid advertising is highly suggested.
Young Authors Cohort
The Young Authors Cohort is a small group book publishing cohort for kids. Girls and boys spend several months face-to-face and virtually creating their very own book. After the series, they will learn how to publish their book to begin creating a new side hustle and income stream. I have completed 3 cohorts with the collaboration of Gem N Me Leadership and have now published about 14 young authors since 2021.
